As previously stated, BustQue is a 100% BEE company and it intends on staying that way. This will be done through taking advantage of the Skills Development Act and its provision for learnerships and training. This will be an excellent way for an SMME like BustQue to gain valuable skills and human resources at a somewhat reduced rate.

As also previously stated, the company currently has a 50% women’s economic empowerment stake. This is not only substantially higher than the generally accepted norm of 25%, but also significantly higher than the industry norm that is at around 20%.

Corporate social investment and corporate responsibility have become buzzwords of late. At BustQue we believe that these should not be done superficially, but rather from a real need and conscience basis. As such, focus has been placed on human issues. These include small charities often overlooked by larger concerns.
